Michael Sidgmore is a Venture Partner with Broadhaven Capital Partners where he sources, funds, and manages investments into early-stage FinTech Companies.

Prior to Broadhaven, Michael was a pre-product, pre-launch employee and a Senior Vice President at iCapital Network, a financial technology company that has created a turnkey online solution to multi-asset class alternatives investing at lower costs and lower minimums for the high-net worth community.
Michael is an Advisory Board Member for the Village Capital US FinTech Program, a leading FinTech accelerator program focused on financial inclusion. Michael is also a Special Advisor to Panorama Point Partners, a private investment firm founded by the former CIO of Capricorn Investment Group. Michael is also an Advisory Board Member to Pivit, a content platform that enables real-time collection, dissemination, and gamification of crowd-based opinions.
Prior to iCapital Network, Michael was the Director of Institutional Investments at Mosaic, a financing platform for affordable home solar loans. Before Mosaic, Michael was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs’ Principal Strategic Investments team in London, a direct investing team focused on market structure and fintech strategy and investing.
Michael is also the Founder and Manager of the M4Fund, an investment vehicle dedicated to partnering with and investing in innovative financial technology companies that are reimagining the future of finance. Michael was the Founder of NextGenEngage, an organization that educated the next generation of impact investors.
Michael is a frequent speaker and writer on impact investing, next generation wealth topics, and financial technology platforms. He has written for the Guardian and has spoken at conferences that include Bloomberg Alternative Investment Conference, FOX Family Office Exchange, Summit Outside, and US SIF – The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, amongst others.
Michael graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in International Relations and was the Chairman and President of the LSE Alternative Investments Conference, the world’s largest student conference on hedge funds and private equity. In 2012, Michael was selected to be a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Michael holds his FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Michael is passionate about finding and building solutions that can positively impact finance and people’s financial lives – and provide consumers with access to capital, solve issues of financial inclusion and financial wellness, and create a more transparent and efficient financial system.
